On 25 August 2014, the President signed into law the bill introducing the Law on Hydrocarbon Tax (Ustawa o podatku węglowodorowym), the amendments to the Law on Mineral Extraction Tax (Ustawa o podatku od wydobycia niektórych kopalin) and other laws.
The law will enter into force on 1 January 2016.
